On October 7, 2019, Apple released a new version of its Mac operating system, macOS Catalina. Version 10.15 contains many changes and improvements. One of the significant is the complete phasing out of 32-bit applications. As a developer of such macOS apps, w. Apple has announced that when it launches its new macOS 10.15 “Catalina”, it will stop support for 32-bit apps, such as MyHarmony. The current macOS 10.14 “Mojave” will be the last version to do so. In support of macOS 10.15 we will release a new 64-bit application called Harmony Desktop. To run 32-bit Mac applications you need one of these solutions: An Intel Mac booted into macOS 10.14 Mojave or earlier. This must be a Mid 2019 or older model, since Late 2019 and newer models can only boot into macOS 10.15 Catalina or later. If the 32-bit Mac applications are able to run in a VM (some are not) then you can use VM software on. To install, download the razorsql9_3_3_setup.exe file to your Windows machine.Launching the exe file executes the windows installer. Follow the prompts to installRazorSQL.

Open a terminal window. Navigate to the directory where you unzipped the file andthen to the razorsql directory (cd razorsql).

Launch the shell script:

sh razorsql.sh (you may need to execute a chmod on razorsql.sh before launching -- chmod 755 razorsql.sh)

Solaris / Unix

RazorSQL requires Java 1.8 or greater.

Download and unzip razorsql9_3_3.zip. Open a terminal window. Navigate to the directory where you unzipped the zip file and then to the razorsql directory.

Either launch the shell script or the executable jar file:

sh razorsql.sh (you may need to execute a chmod on razorsql.sh before launching -- chmod 755 razorsql.sh)

or

java -jar razorsql.jar

If java is not in the path, type the full path to the java program, for example:

/usr/jdk1.8/bin/java -jar razorsql.jar

If using the shell script and java is not in the path, make sure to edit the script so that the full path to java is specified.

Uninstallation Instructions

Windows (Native Installer)

To uninstall RazorSQL installations that were installed via the Windows installer, the Windows Programs and Features /Add Remove Programs control panel option can be used to uninstall RazorSQL. RazorSQL can also be uninstalled byclicking the 'Uninstall RazorSQL' Start menu shortcut under the RazorSQL Start menu group, or by launching thefollowing file:
64-bit: C:Program FilesRazorSQLuins000.exe
32-bit: C:Program Files (x86)RazorSQLuins000.exe

Windows (Zip File)

To uninstall RazorSQL installations that were downloaded via the Windows Zip File option, move the 'razorsql'folder that was created when extracting the zip file to the Trash / Recycle Bin on your Windows system.Then, empty the trash.

macOS / Mac OS X

Macos

To uninstall RazorSQL on Mac OS X or macOS systems, drag RazorSQL.app to the Trash on your system. Then, emptythe trash.

Linux

To uninstall RazorSQL on Linux/Unix systems, remove the 'razorsql' folder that was created when extractingthe RazorSQL zip file. This can be done by either dragging the folder to the trash and emptying the trash,or executing the following command via the terminal application: rm -rf razorsql

Get connected

It takes time to download and install macOS, so make sure that you have a reliable Internet connection. If you're using a Mac notebook computer, plug it into AC power.

Download macOS Big Sur

If you're using macOS Mojave or later, get macOS Big Sur via Software Update: Choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, then click Software Update.

Begin installation

After downloading, the installer opens automatically.

Click Continue and follow the onscreen instructions. You might find it easiest to begin installation in the evening so that it can complete overnight, if needed.

If the installer asks for permission to install a helper tool, enter the administrator name and password that you use to log in to your Mac, then click Add Helper.

Allow installation to complete

Please allow installation to complete without putting your Mac to sleep or closing its lid. Your Mac might restart, show a progress bar, or show a blank screen several times as it installs both macOS and related updates to your Mac firmware.

Stay up to date

After installing macOS Big Sur, you will be notified when updates to macOS Big Sur are available. You can also use Software Update to check for updates: Choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, then click Software Update.

Or get macOS Big Sur automatically

If you're using OS X El Capitan v10.11.5 or later and your App Store preferences or Software Update preferences are set to download new updates when available, macOS Big Sur will download conveniently in the background, making it even easier to upgrade. A notification will inform you when macOS Big Sur is ready to be installed. Click Install to get started, or dismiss the notification to install later. When you're ready to install, just open the file named Install macOS Big Sur from your Applications folder.
