My macbook pro: MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) 2 GHz Intel Core i7. 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3. Should I upgrade to Catalina from Mojave? I think Catalina is the last OS that this mac support, so I had the idea of leave it with the last OS possible but I read awful reviews in the App Store. MacOS Big Sur (11.0) Here is the list of devices compatible with macOS Big Sur: MacBook Pro (Late 2013 and newer). MacBook Air (2013 and newer). MacBook (2015 and newer). IMac (2014 and newer). IMac Pro (2017 and newer). Mac Pro (2013 and newer). Mac Mini (2014 and newer). MacOS Catalina (10.15) If you are using Mojave MacOS on your Mac, chances are you can install MacOS Catalina. MacBook: early 2015 or later. MacBook Air: mid-2012 or later. MacBook Pro: mid-2012 or later. Mac mini: late 2012 or later. IMac: late 2012 or later. IMac Pro: all models. Mac Pro: late 2013 or later. If your device isn't on this list, or was released before 2012, you won't be able to get Catalina the officially supported way. Mac Pro models from late 2013 Mojave supported mid-2010 or mid-2012 Mac Pro models with certain Metal-capable graphics processor, unfortunately, Catalina won’t.
